The Zone can be experienced in both a learning and a performance environment. Creating a non-judgemental / objective learning space and helping players to learn with relaxed focus are key coaching skills to develop. In performance these skills will help players to find ways to reduce mental interference and allow The Zone to manifest more often.
In Zone Training, coaches will learn how to help players to develop their physical and technical skills with the help of increased mental skills – relaxed focus, concentration, state management, self-awareness, responsibility, trust, confidence and self-belief.
One of the great benefits of learning these skills is that they have the potential to positively impact other areas of a player’s life as well helping them to perform under pressure in their chosen sport.
This course is intended for anyone who is interested in learning more about The Zone – the science behind it and how to create a coaching environment where players of all ages and standards can have more Zone experiences.
