LTA Coach Mentoring

Some of the key elements which the Inner Game addresses include how to;

  • Reduce mental interference
  • Increase focus of attention
  • Develop self-responsibility in the learner
  • Increase awareness of one’s experience
  • Develop Self-trust in one’s own resources and thus begin to build self-belief
  • Pay attention to what is most critical
  • Create a non-judgemental learning environment
  • Achieve high performance and enjoyment as a coach whilst continually learning from your experience.

Performer-centred coaching skills are intended to help the learner to chose their desired direction and outcomes and, through a process of asking questions that increase awareness, and encourage self-responsibility, the learner can begin to feel that they already have the capacity to learn within them and that it doesn’t always need to come from the ‘outside’, i.e., from others! This can lead to feelings of confidence, the development of self trust in their capacity to learn from their experience and self-belief.

  • Observing
  • Listening
  • Empathising
  • Questioning
  • Feedback.
  • Intuiting
